There is a growing demand within the expanding Indian community in the Netherlands for a larger and more spacious Temple/Community Centre than the few that currently exist. To address this need, we are planning to create an impressive Centre dedicated to prayer, worship, yoga, meditation, and creative arts, as well as education in literature, language, Ayurveda, and (Vedic) spirituality.

Damroo Foundation International is actively working to secure land in Almere for the construction of the largest community center and Shiva temple in the Netherlands. This center will be open to all communities, seven days a week, and will be built in a Vedic style with sustainable practices, reflecting principles of environmental awareness and cultural authenticity.

This landmark initiative aims to become a hub for cultural exchange, spiritual practice, and community involvement, promoting unity and understanding among diverse populations in Almere and beyond. The Centre will serve as the heart of spirituality and personal development, attracting individuals from around the globe while sending a strong message of acceptance, tolerance, and world peace.
